1 cup butter, softened 
2 eggs, beaten 
2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
2 cups light brown sugar 
2 cups all-purpose flour 
2 teaspoons baking powder 
½ teaspoon salt 
1 cup chopped walnuts, divided in half 
1 cup milk chocolate chips, divided in half 
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl combine butter, eggs, vanilla, brown 
sugar, flour, baking powder & salt. Beat by hand or with an electric mixer on low speed. 
Mix well scraping sides regularly. 

2. Stir half of the walnuts & half of the chocolate chips into the batter. Grease a 9 X 13-inch 
pan with softened butter. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan. Sprinkle the top with the 
remaining walnuts & chocolate chips. 

3. Bake for 30-33 minutes on 350 degrees. Remove pan from oven, the Blondies should be soft 
& moist. Be sure not to over-bake or they will be dry. Cool & cut into bite-size squares. 

servings: 2 dozen / prep time: 15 minutes / cook time: 30 minutes
