Fun Friday HEAD BANGER BUFFALO WINGS
2 pounds chicken wings
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 cups safflower oil
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup hot sauce
4 tablespoons honey
½ cup blue cheese dressing
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Split wings at each joint & discard the tips. Combine seasoned
salt & pepper in a small bowl. Evenly season the wings with the mixture.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. After the oil is hot, gently place wings into
the oil. Fry for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove wings from the pan & drain
them on paper towels.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, hot sauce & honey. Add the wings to the bowl
& toss around in the sauce until completely covered.
4. Lay wings flat on a sheet pan & bake them for 10-12 minutes. Serve with a bowl of your
favorite blue cheese dressing.
