Tim Tebow Tells Florida Congregation: “When we bring our talents to God, Miracles Happen”

Tim Tebow, former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst took time out of his busy schedule to make a special appearance at a packed church in Central Florida to explain the reason for his success. Tebow spoke to the congregation and said that his sports career is evidence that God “Can take little things and make them big.”

Tim Tebow has openly been a practicing Christian athlete and has always taken a moment to thank God for all of his success. During his speech at the Florida church, he pointed to his iconic John 3:16 eye lack and mentioned that that exact verse carried him through his NFL career and was an inspiring message that he always shared with his team mates.

Tim spoke about his strong belief that God was working with him through his athletic skill and in blessing him with so many iconic plays and statistics. He went on to explaining that it matters how Christians express their faith.

“It matters whose team you’re on.. As a Christian, its pretty awesome to have God as a teammate, with Jesus on your team, you have a lot to offer. When we bring what we have and match it with who He is, miracles happen,” said Tebow at the congregation during their annual “Night To Shine” event for people with special needs.

“Night To Shine” is an event hosted by 200 churches in 48 states which honors people 16 and older with special needs. This event provides them with a prom like experience on the same night around the world and has nearly 70,000 volunteers and 30,000 guests. Every year the Tim Tebow Foundation partners with hundreds of churches to deliver a weekend full of activities for disabled teens, including “Night To Shine."

This year Tim Tebow was able to attend “Night To Shine” in North Carolina and Tennessee as well as Central Florida.
