I love life. I also love math.
As I was laying in bed reflecting, I began to think how the lives of some run parallel to our own....never touching or intersecting, while the lives of others are perpendicular, meaning they touch us in some way. Then it occurred to me....some lives that may run parallel to our own may indeed, touch or intersect lives that are also perpendicular to our own. So what am I saying.....other than I'm somewhat of a math geek?
I'm saying in life we spend SO much time determining how people of other faiths, races etc. are so DIFFERENT than us, that we often miss the various commonalities and connections we share. The bottom line is whether I'm Black, White, Catholic, Christian, Democrat, Republican, Homosexual, Heterosexual, Male, Female, Upper Class, Middle Class (does that still exist?) Lower Class, American, Canadian, etc., we are all connected on SOME plane and in the end....will it even really matter???
At the end of the game (metaphorically speaking), the King and the Pawn both go in the same box.
Here is today's thought:
“There is very little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude.”
