Pastor Charles Jenkins

Pastor Charles Jenkins is best known for his work in the community, his work as a songwriter and his ability to lead and advise his congregation. As a pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois and a Grammy award winning songwriter, he is committed to serving communities and promoting education and wealth creation.
 
As a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he’s made it his mission to be a strong leader and humble servant. Aside from song writing and pastoring his church, Pastor Jenkins also serves on many educational, corporate and religious boards including The Clear Channel Chicago Advisory Board and the Illinois Treasurer Advisory Board. Jenkins is also the President and CEO of GoodCity NFP which is an organization for non-profit organizations and social entrepreneurs. Most recently, Pastor Jenkins was inducted into the Martin Luther King Jr, Board of Preachers sand Scholars of Morehouse College and was a guest speaker at the White House during the National Prayer Breakfast Week.

Pastor Jenkins is married to Dr. Tara Rawls-Jenkins and together they have three children.
